I also remember, about 10 years ago, seeing a rare 1970s Mazda on a pole at a scrapyard in Cookeville,Tn. I'll try to locate that but if you find it first, feel free to post it.
Its kind of distant but there are some elements of a 1950 Mercury. Theres a noticeable badge in the center with chrome underneath and kind of a low grille. I'm probably completely wrong since this car is way before my time but thats my 2 cents worth.

I was going to say that the neighborhood has a lot of newer looking houses,so this one was probably on the demolition block. If you look at street views from places like Victoria and Vancouver, you'll see many neighborhoods where 95% of the houses were torn down and rebuilt. Many of the "lost" homes seemed to be in great shape, too.
I'm surprised to see a British convertible in the snowy, mountainous terrain of Wyoming, but that state is a hotbed of old, vintage trucks. Montana, too.
Ah, ok. I saw "NYPD" on the vest and thought he was a cop. I wasn't aware they had civilian employees in the police dept.
Around here, parking enforcement is a separate department, and traffic control is done by cops. I guess everyplace does it differently.
Yu Loong is A Taiwanese automaker. Though the Sunny was sold globally under different names (Nissan/Datsun), the Yu Loong version was only available in Taiwan.
These were locally built in that country, making them geographically and historically important and are notable due to the scarcity of old cars in Taiwan.
Detroit has newer, high-resolution pictures. Flint still has grainy old street views, so they are likely to be replaced with newer images before Detroit is. So I'm trying to preserve those images first before they get updated.
I love it! Compact's are my favorite style of vintage car. A lot of people like big cars but small cars have more character to me and seem more fun. This is a great find!
Its an old Dacia. I guess a lot of people buy them junked for parts in Romania and just leave them sitting around until they need a component off them.

Nice color, it almost looks like The General Lee from "Dukes Of Hazzard" (which was an American Dodge Charger).
Also note the pink Metropolitan in the background.
