This site is located at the end of Morrison Canyon Road in Alameda County, Ca. While the site has 24 and 7 security, I don't believe the area is intended to be very secret or secure. Occasionally the site will get mentioned in the local press, but ESL provides no information on the mission of the site. The land next to the site is now owned by the...

Reading this I can't find a clue to the large (8?) antenna array. According to above pdf it is small. Further pdf about an array on ascension are for sale ??. These kind of antenna's don't look big. Anyone has holiday pictures with local snaps of how it looks.? (Yeah, I was there last week...) unexplained I guess ?
Ascension Island hosts one of three ground antennas (others are on Kwajalein and Diego Garcia) that assist in the operation of the Global Positioning System (GPS) navigational system.
The final live performance by the band, recorded (and filmed) on January 30, 1969 on top of the Apple Building at 3 Savile Row, London. Porto Santo is located 50 Kms. north-east of Funchal.
The island is amazingly different from the island of Madeira. There is almost no vegetation at all. The southern coast is bordered by a 9 Kms. long beach with golden, soft sand.
The temperature in the sea is 18-23 ºC (64,4-73,4 ºF) throughout the year.
Tourists seek to Porto Santo to enjoy a relaxing holiday of tranquility. The isolation permits the island to keep some of the old traditions of...
Actually I don't think it was a swing bridge, if you look way up upstream you can see simular structures beneeth other bridges. Altough on the pilar could have been a rest for a swing bridge anyway.

Let me take you down
cause I'm going to strawberry fields
Nothing is real
and nothing to get hung about
Strawberry fields forever
Living is easy with eyes closed
Misunderstanding all you see
It's getting hard to be someone
but it all works out
It doesn't matter much to me
Let me take you down
cause I'm going to strawberry fields
Nothing is real
and nothing to get...
