Ozzy's picture The M109 brings back a lot of memories. I was assigned to the 3rd Battalion 18th Field Artillery Regiment in Fort Sill back in 1985, and it is so awesome to see them fire. You can stand behind them, which is the only safe place, and see the round leave the turret. They are also good for keeping you up at night when on field exercises.
