Such a great city... what a shame they'd have to ruin a beautiful new arena by giving it such an idiotic name.

You don't like the name? In Live Local the signature is not yet on the roof :-)

I don't like almost every corporate name. Some aren't bad like United Center in Chicago and the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. Some, if they'd leave out a word or two, wouldn't be too terrible such as if Arrowhead Credit Union Park in San Bernardino was just Arrowhead Park or Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey was just Continental Arena or Lincoln Financial Field was just Lincoln Field in Philly. Question: How many sports or music venues named in the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, or 80's were named with the words Bank, Credit Union, Financial, or Airlines? Any? How many venues ever had the same name? FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, FedEx Forum in Memphis. Pepsi Center in Albany, New York, Pepsi Arena in Denver. And what's the deal with having 4 or 5 outdoor music venues in America all named after Verizon Wireless? Can one ever confuse Dodger Stadium with the other Dodger Stadium and with the other Dodger Stadium? No, 'cause there's just ONE. And what was the deal with an arena being named the First National Car Rental Center... does one rent cars there or see a concert or sporting event? Dunkin Donuts Arena? I love Dunkin Donuts but come on, what a stupid name!!! Pizza Hut Park? Dunn Tire Park? AutoZone Park? I'm just merely mentioning the tip of the iceberg!! And what's the deal with venues not even 10 years old being on their THIRD name? How many names has Fenway Park had in the past 75 years? One. It's just a very sad aspect of American culture. For such a tremendously awesome country, what a shame this all is.
