Staub's Country Inn, which used to serve some of the best fried chicken in the Washington metro area, was loacted at this intersection, attached to the Beallsville post office. It closed in 2003.

It was also apparently a location in the wildly popular film, The Blair Witch Project.

Oh, man. I had THE BEST pork chop at Staub's back in 1989. I'm drinking out of a Staub's Country Inn coffee cup right now.
