Lasky-DeMille Barn - First Hollywood Studio

Lasky-DeMille Barn - First Hollywood Studio (StreetView)
The Lasky-DeMille Barn is one of Hollywood's first film studios.

It is now the site of the Hollywood Heritage Museum.

In December 1913, Cecil B. DeMille leased the barn and studio facilities for $250.00 a month establishing the Jesse L. Lasky Feature Play Company.

The barn was acquired in February 1983 by Hollywood Heritage, Inc., and moved to its present site. It was dedicated as the Hollywood Heritage Museum on December 13, 1985.
