[In 1962] Pastor George Davis welcomes Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson to NCCC; President Johnson and his family attend services regularly until 1969.

[In 1973] State funeral of President Johnson [was held] at NCCC.

The small hexagonal structure is the Wilfley Memorial Prayer Chapel replicating Alexander Campbell's study [in Bethany, WV] and was constructed in 1961.
