St. Elmo Steak House

St. Elmo Steak House (StreetView)
St. Elmo Steak House recalls the sort of clubby beef palace every big Midwestern city once had, the one frequented by local bigwigs, sports stars and visiting glitterati. Its bar room wall is lined with photos signed by such diverse guests as Keith Richards, Jane Pauley, Ed Asner, and a wrestler identified as the original French Angel. There is even a shot of O.J. Simpson when he was best-known for his athletic skills.

This is an excellent restaurant. They have the best Australian Lamb Rack I have ever had. It was 15oz of pure bliss. Their steaks range from 14oz to 32oz, prices are $20-$45. They usually have around 3,000 bottles in there wine cellar, which is sure to appease any palate.
