Description:

Large mental hospital opened in 1893 and originally named Whittingham Asylum. The Hospital had its own railway until 1957 to carry stores, supplies, staff, patients relatives and visitors. The hospital has since been closed and some parts of it are in very bad condition. Urban exploration raport here:
