It would appear that the position has been abandoned. The imagery dating 9/18/2011 on Google earth had trucks and equipment laying around which can't be seen on the 6/4/2012 images.

I forgot to include the link, my bad, it is a little bit more obvious in the early imagery than 2012 images.
