Empty ship dock near Hiroshima with no signs of recent use and with no standing buildings around, only some ruins and forest. I'd like to know more about this one.

It was a shipyard (for repair ships)of Mitsubishi Heavy Industry. and closed in 2002. Main reason was promotion of efficiency.(1951-2002).
