RAF Cardington - primary feature visible are the two gigantic airship hangars from the days of the R100. Used in later years as a training establishment for driving instructors and for fire research

The new high res images are great. Anybody have any idea what the blue and green rectangle to the east of the hangars is?

One of the hangars is now the manufacturing facility for Advanced Technologies Group http://www.aerospace-technology.com/projects/skycat/
