On Tuesday 23rd August 2022, Dan HB9IIO/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Bella Tola and activated this summit on the radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 20 contacts in total working on the 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Bella Tola is 3025 metres (9925 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
