The Boeing 757-225 crashed at sea shortly after take-off from Puerto Plata en-route to Frankfurt.

The cause is believed to be from a wasp nest in the pitot tube of the aircraft; resulting in pilot dis-orientation.

All 176 passengers & 13 crew perished in the crash.
