Camp Nou is the historic home stadium of FC Barcelona, located in Barcelona, Spain. Opened in 1957, it is the largest football stadium in Europe, with a historic capacity of just under 100,000 spectators. Designed by architects Francesc Mitjans, Josep Soteras, and Lorenzo García-Barbón, the stadium quickly became one of the most iconic venues in world football, hosting countless domestic league matches, European finals, and international tournaments.

Camp Nou has been the stage for some of football’s greatest players and moments, including multiple UEFA Champions League finals and matches during the 1982 FIFA World Cup. In recent years, the stadium has been undergoing a major redevelopment project — part of Barça’s “Espai Barça” plan — aimed at modernizing facilities, improving sustainability, and increasing comfort while preserving its historic identity.
