On Saturday 9th December 2023, Ricardo LU/EA6LU/D, a radio amateur from Palma de Mallorca, Spain reached the summit of Cerro Tres Picos and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 5 contacts in total working on the 40m amateur radio band.
The summit of Cerro Tres Picos is 1239 metres (4065 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
