Château Saint Jeannet

Château Saint Jeannet (originally Château de la Gaude) is a notable French château located in the Côte d'Azur which dates back to the 11th century. It was built by the Marquis Villeneuve for the kings of France. The fortress was used for the defense of the southern area of France from the advancing Italians who crossed the river Var and pillaging the villages including St Jeannet. In the 1950s, it was purchased by French actress, Viviane Romance. It is currently owned by British film director Jon Acevski.
