On Thursday 11th August 2022, Arthur HB9CEV/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached summit of Cima del Serraglio and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 56 contacts in total working on the 60, 40, 20, 17 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Cima del Serraglio is 2685 metres (8809 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
