On Monday 12th September 2022, Friedrich HB9BNC/P and Mario HB9HAT/P, two radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Munt la Schera and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 16 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
