On Saturday 1st October 2022, Jonathan KC1MXB, a radio amateur from Springvale, ME reached the summit of Crocker Mtn. and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 62 contacts in total working on the 60, 40, 20 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Crocker Mtn. is 1289 metres (4229 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
