The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is a single seat carrier-capable attack aircraft.
Skyhawks were used in the Vietnam War, the Yom Kippur War, and the Falklands War.
Fifty years after being introduced they remain in service with several air forces around the world.
This aircraft was an A-4M variant and is on loan from the National Museum of Naval Aviation. The aircraft was modified to represent the Blue Angels by removing the avionics pod and camera bomb targeting system.
