It is interesting that the 18 element 'float out and sink' Tunnel was designed by British Consultants Travers Morgan in their East Grinstead Office. Travers Morgan had learnt how to design this type of Tunnel when they hired Cristiani Neilson of Copenhagen to design the five element Conway Tunnel in North Wales.
