On Tuesday 26th March 2024 at 13:55 UTC, Zdenko 9A4FM, a radio amateur from Croatia, made contact with Jaromir OK1XZ/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic, who was operating from EVL Kunetická hora (OKFF-3287), on the 20m amateur radio band. Jaromir made a total of 77 contacts while at the reserve.

EVL Kunetická hora (OKFF-3287), is a protected area of 26.9410 hectares on the slopes of Kunetická hora to the north-east of Pardubice, in the east of the Czech Republic.

The area was first designated in 2005 to protect the Brown Stink Bug (Osmoderma eremita) a highly endangered species. In 2013 it was further designated to protect saproxylic insects, bird and mammals

Saproxylic insects are those that are dependent at some stage on dead or dying trees and /or on wood-inhabiting fungi.
