The long barrow is located on a patch of land in a field. The barrow is thought to have been constructed between 3950 BC - 2801 BC. The dolmen is in good condition but slightly overgrown during the summer. The majority of the barrow has been ploughed away. Only the dolmen remains today.
The barrow is one of several within the area. All dolmens and barrows are protected.
