On Saturday 6th August 2022 Juerg HB9BIN/P, Hans HB9BQU/P and Jean-Pierre HB9HBV/P three radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Furggubäumhorn/ Punta d'Aurona and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 66 contacts in total working on the 40, 20 and 17 metre HF amateur radio bands.
