Georges de Montgomery, the son of Hilbert Compte de Pembroke de Montgomery, commissioned it to be built by Dutch architect Hans-Georg Tersling.
Today, it is owned by Serbian businessman and entrepreneur Philip Zepter and his wife, Madlena.
