On Wednesday 29th June 2022 Owen MW0KVI/P a radio amateur from England reached the summit of Glyder Fawr and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 11 contacts in total working on the 40 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Glyder Fawr is 1001 metres (2956 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
