On Monday 26th June 2023, Christoph OE/DJ7YO/P, a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Großes Häuselhorn and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 17 contacts in total working on the 30m amateur radio band.
The summit of Großes Häuselhorn is 2284 metres (7493. feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
