On Friday 15th July 2022 Beni HB0HNT/P a radio amateur Switzerland reached the summit of Höch Windgällen/ Schächentaler Windgällen stock and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 20 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 20 amateur radio bands.
The summit of Höch Windgällen/ Schächentaler Windgällen is 2764 metres (9068 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
