On Sunday 23rd July 2023, Andy OE6ADE/P, a radio amateur from Austria reached the summit of Hoher Prijakt and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 40 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
