On Thursday 25th August 2022, JP OE/DK3CWP a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Kastenegg and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 13 contacts in total working on the 40 metre HF amateur radio band.
