On Monday 8th August 2022 Brian N6IZ/P a radio amateur from Los Gatos,CA reached the summit of Humphreys Peak and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 17 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit Humphreys Peak is 3851 metres (12635 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
