On Thursday 4th May 2023, JE7MHN, a radio amateur from Japan, reached the summit of Ishiduchisan (Tengudake) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 10 contacts in total working on the 70cm and 2m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Ishiduchisan (Tengudake) is 1982 metres (6503 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
The summit of Ishiduchisan (Tengudake) is in the Ehime Prefecture on Shikoku Island.
