A Bronze statue of James Brindley by the sculptor Colin Melbourne was commission by the Brindley Committee and was unveiled on 20th July 1990.

The statue is positioned at the junction of the Caldon and the Trent & Mersey Canal opposite the Etruria Industrial Museum.
