On Saturday 2nd July 2022 Greg OK/SP3LRS/P a radio amateur from Poland reached the summit of Ještěd and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 11 contacts in total working on the 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Ještěd is 1012 metres (3320 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
