Kafue Gorge Dam

The Kafue Gorge Upper Power Station is a hydroelectric power plant of the Kafue River in Zambia. The construction period was form 1967 to 1973. A power generating capacity of 900 MW was installed in six engines, producing up to 150 MW each and the current capacity is 990MW.
