The ceramic museum Keramion was built by architect Peter Neufert in 1971. The shape resembles a pottery wheel. It was used by Gottfried Cremer as a display for his huge collection of contemporary ceramics. In 2002 the collection was merged with the one of the pottery museum in Frechen and opened to the public.
