On Thursday 27th April 2023, Yukio JF1NDT/0, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Kimenzan and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 34 contacts in total working on the 40m, 30m and 15m amateur radio bands.
