On Friday 18th November 2022, Yuki JF1NDT/0, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Kumabushiyama and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 27 contacts in total working on the 40, 30, 17 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
