On Friday 5th April 2024 at 10:34 UTC, Fred DL8DXL, a radio amateur from Germany made contact with Lisa N6/FJD/P, a radio amateur from Seville, OH who was operating from Kinder Scout National Nature Reserve (NNR) (GFF-0381) on the 20m amateur radio band.

Kinder Scout National Nature Reserve (NNR) (GFF-0381), is a protected area of 1,082 hectares in the Peak District area of Derbyshire. In 1932 it was the site of the famous 'Mass Trespass" on what at the time was a private grouse moor.

Lisa was at the summit of Kinder Scout (636 metres asl) while at the reserve and made a total of 13 contacts for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
