On Friday 6th January 2023, Stanislav OK1HCD/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic reached the summit of Kleť and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 15 contacts in total working on the 40 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Kleť is 1084 metres (3556 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
