On Saturday 10th June 2023, Yan JH0ROI/0, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Komagatake and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 30 contacts in total working on the 70cm,2m and 30m amateur radio bands.
