On Sunday 24th July 2022 Rudolf OE7RDI/P a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of Kreuzjoch and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 21 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VJHF and the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
