Lochearnhead is a converted railway station that is situated about 30 miles north of Stirling, which features bunk accommodation for up to 90 people and access to the finest walking country in central Scotland.
Historical, Transportation - Rail
The station is now a scouts camp. Hertfordshire Scouts are the ones that are now on the site. The island platform, station house and one cargo platform still exist today. Out side the station you can see one pillar, that once had a bridge crossing the A85 so the railway could enter Lochearnhead Station. You can also see the remains of the Lochearnhead Viaduct.
