On Sunday 31st March 2024 at 06:53 UTC, Andreas DL6AP, a radio amateur from Germany, made contact with Joel OH2CBD/P, a radio amateur from Finland, who was operating from Luukinjärven rantametsän luonnonsuojelualue (OHFF-0622), on the 40m amateur radio band. Joel made a total of 121 contacts while at the reserve.
Luukinjärven rantametsän luonnonsuojelualue (OHFF-0622)[Luukinjärvi coastal forest nature reserve], is a protected area of 12 hectares located to the north-west of Helsinki in the south of Finland. It was designated in 2009 as a Private Nature Reserve and is an IUCN Management Category IV area.
