Mühlen Kölsch brewery headquarters

The "Brewery zur Malzmühle“ is a family business, that was opened 150 years ago. Today it is run by the Schwartz family in the fourth generation. It is the oldest brewery in the heart of the old town of Cologne. The legendary “Koch´sche Malzbier” is still brewed in the way it has always been, since it made the brewery a popular meeting point for the people of Cologne.

The most popular beer from the Malzmühle is Mühlen Kölsch – the beer for the beer connoisseur. In the brewery “Zur Malzmühle” the traditional handmade art of brewing is still alive today: Best ingredients and selected natural hops complete the tasteful Kölsch specialty.
