A Methodist Church on Hawthorn Close in Holmes Chapel which was built the early years of the 20th Century.
The church was built to replace the first Methodist Chapel in the village which opened in 1813 in a converted cottage next to the river Dane.
The church interior was remodelled in 2008 and it was at this time that an extension was added to provide more rooms for the community services provided at the church.
