Jim and Artie Mitchell opened this famous X-rated movie theater in 1969. The brothers made their own films, and they are considered pioneers in the pornography industry. Over time, the theater evolved into a peep show and strip tease club.

The Mitchell's were portrayed by brothers Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen in the 2000 film "Rated X".
