On Sunday 23rd October 2022, Jo I1WKN/P, a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of Monte Nebius and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 33 contacts in total working on the 70cm and the 2, 6 and 20 metre amateur radio bands.
