On Saturday 17th June 2023, Markus IN3ADF/P, a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of Monte Pez / Petz and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 93 contacts in total working on the 60m, 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Monte Pez / Pez is 2563 metres (8409 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
